Domestic abuse continues to be an endemic problem within the UK. Women accessing our services are presenting with higher levels of risk and increasing complexity of needs. As a specialist provider, it is vital we are able to provide dynamic services that can flex to address the accelerating diverse needs of the families we support whilst also having the infrastructure to enable this. Key is guaranteeing access to funding that is not ring-fenced that we can put to best use for maximum benefit.

We recognise there are no quick-wins in relation to domestic abuse. It has a profound, long-lasting impact on the women and children we support. We offer trauma informed support tailored to address the needs of each woman and child, holding them at the heart of everything we do and enabling them to move forward positively with their lives free from fear. Having an increased flexibility will enhance and strengthen our services in the best interest of the women and children we support.
