Women and girls across Yorkshire are facing a tightening labour market, with fewer entry‑level roles and rising experience requirements that make first steps into work significantly harder. Youth unemployment now exceeds 15%, and female economic inactivity is as high as 47% in Harehills and nearly 30% in Bradford. Confidence is also declining, with 66% of women feeling less able to apply for jobs. These structural and personal barriers create a disproportionately challenging labour environment.
We help women overcome unemployment by building confidence, skills and practical readiness for work. Each woman receives tailored one‑to‑one coaching, including career guidance and interview preparation. We remove financial barriers by providing a full interview outfit and, once she secures a role, a capsule work wardrobe. Through coaching, clothing and confidence‑building, we equip women to believe in themselves, move into work and thrive.
