Modern slavery is not a distant issue, it exists here in our own communities, in the businesses we shop at and the streets we walk down. It’s estimated that 122,000 people are living in modern slavery in the UK. Behind these statistics are women who have faced trafficking and exploitation and been stripped of their independence. Survivors face not just physical and psychological trauma but significant barriers including language barriers, digital exclusion, isolation, and poverty.

Without the ability to earn income through employment, survivors are continuously trapped in a vicious cycle of re-exploitation, unable to reach a life of independence and freedom. We hold a critical place for survivors and referral-partner organisations, being able to work across the long-term and flex and respond to need. By focusing on employability, education, wellbeing, and long-term independence, we offer survivors the skills, confidence, and resilience to create pathways to sustainable fr
