At Peaches Womb Cancer Trust, we want to reduce the inequalities experienced in diagnosis and treatment of womb cancer. We want to do more to understand how existing materials need to change so that everyone with a womb has access to the information and support that speaks to them - and do it!

Womb Cancer is the 4th most common cancer to affect women and the most common gynae cancer. Yet awareness of womb cancer is really low. Women aren't aware of the signs or how best to self advocate when seeking medical advice. This is especially true of younger women and Black women, who often receive a later diagnosis. This can result in the need for more intensive treatment, increased side effects/long term impacts and poorer prognosis/survivorship.

We will work with women to understand the barriers to accessing information, timely diagnosis and support during and after their treatment to womb cancer. Those who are from communities that face inequalities will be at the centre of our work to redesign resources and ways of working to challenge this status quo and make a difference going forward. We take a collaborative approach to all our work, valuing genuine partnership and lived experience.
