For 22 years, EdUKaid’s UK team has driven strategy while working closely with Tanzanian colleagues to improve education in Mtwara. Now, we want leadership to sit fully locally to secure lasting, community-led change. As a small charity, we need £10,000 in core funding to support this transition — a critical moment for 65,000 children.
This funding helps to deliver the planned handover of authority to our Tanzanian leadership team. We are strengthening financial systems, governance, monitoring and evaluation, and senior leadership so decisions are made locally. Your donation now ensures this transition succeeds, embedding a community-led model and protecting 22 years of proven impact.
