Many people living with HIV experience multiple social and health inequalities, financial disadvantage, and barriers to support. HIV stigma remains a serious barrier to people feeling confident to seek and take up support and can cause distressing and damaging feelings negatively affecting coping and living well. Social isolation, feelings of loneliness and lack of supportive contact with others who have similar lived experiences are barriers to feeling confident and able to live well with HIV.

We will provide regular HIV community-based safe spaces, HIV lunch clubs, support-drop in's, and peer support groups. These bring people together to share mutually supportive social time, peer-support through conversations around shared lived experience, shared community meals with access to food and support with living on low and constrained income, and wraparound support including social prescribing, advocacy, in-house advice, engagement with visiting workers from other helping organisations.
