A third of women, globally, have experienced physical/sexual violence (UN Women). In the UK, a woman is killed every 3 days by a man – a current/ex-partner in >50% cases (Femicide Census). UK police receive a domestic abuse-related call every 30 seconds (HMICFRS). 67% full-time female armed forces personnel experienced sexualised behaviour last year (MOD); two thirds of women in prison have experienced domestic abuse (Howard League). And 10% young women (aged 16-19) experience stalking (ONS).

Aurora New Dawn offers one-to-one and group support, shaping services to meet diverse victims’ needs. It accompanies police on domestic abuse patrols, offers therapeutic support groups for women in prison, and specialist stalking advocacy. It provides a global helpline and advocacy service for armed forces communities, advises Government, and trains professionals. It trained 300 armed forces personnel (2020–2022) and 100% reported increased knowledge and confidence to respond to stalking/abuse.
