We are seeking funding for our frontline support workers in Medway. These staff are essential to delivering consistent, trauma-informed support to people experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity and crisis, enabling us to respond flexibly to need and sustain our core services.

Medway is one of the most deprived local authority areas in England, with high levels of homelessness, temporary accommodation use and social disadvantage. The people we work with have complex and entrenched needs including trauma, poor mental health, substance misuse, poverty, and social isolation.
We provide practical, relational and trauma-informed support through a combination of frontline services including outreach, supported housing, emergency assistance and community-based provision. Our support workers act across all of our services, helping residents day to day, stabilise their situations and access appropriate longer-term help. They are ever present at our supported housing project in Chatham. In 2026 we will be adding an additional support worker to our team.
