Hostile immigration policies and the cost of living crisis disproportionately affect children of refugee, asylum seeking and vulnerable migrant backgrounds, negatively impacting their health, safety, and confidence. Families on low or no income often live in overcrowded, unsuitable housing and struggle to meet their essential needs, such as access to healthy food. Displaced children have little or no access to safe, green spaces at home, or after-school and sports activities.

Our Food Bank and Allotment of Refuge will improve children’s health and wellbeing through regular healthy food provision and fun physical activities in a safe green space. Our casework and advocacy will ensure families can access safe housing and regular income so parents can sustainably meet their children’s needs. Our Rainbow Club Saturday school will improve confidence, wellbeing and educational attainment through specialised classes, creative activities, sports, trips and our Youth Council.
