Scotland’s people and places are under threat from the climate and nature emergencies, and 67% of people agree litter makes them feel embarrassed about their own neighbourhoods. Communities across our villages, towns and cities are key to supporting the changes we need to create a clean, green and sustainable Scotland but they need guidance and support along the way, their hard work needs to be recognised and celebrated, and they want to feel part of a bigger movement and learn from each other.

We will empower community groups across Scotland to take direct action for climate and nature, improving their public spaces through litter picks, gardening and growing, creating wildlife corridors and reviving spaces for people and biodiversity. We’ll inspire communities to transform the smallest patch of land, a street or even whole neighbourhoods, villages and towns. We’ll provide free mentoring, advice, resources and frameworks, support peer learning, recognise and celebrate achievements.
