The One Can Trust CSW builds relationships with clients who primarily attend the food bank. Clients are invited to clothes bank, toddler groups and a community cafe which reduces social isolation and provides access to support, advice and additional services. Part funding for the role is requested

14.2 million people people are living in poverty and struggling to put food on the table. People with financial challenges are unable to afford food, clothes and don't necessarily know what support is available to improve their situation. Over 60% of our clients have debt and can quickly spiral further without budget management and debt advice.

At OCT, we support 420 people per week with emergency food support and on a monthly basis, 100 children are clothed at the clothes bank. Particularly in August and September, demand for school uniform is significant (in 2025, we spent £3.5K on school uniforms). Our weekly toddler groups (attended regularly by 20 families) provide a safe space to build social networks and our community cafe, a hot meal and access to advice.
