Help us provide safe living space for four vulnerable teenage girls in Zambia, with a matron to care for them. We have money to fund purchase of a small house, but need more to provide a matron, food, and utilities. This provision will allow them to stay in the village and finish their schooling.

Our charity provides funds to care for and educate 67 children in the village of Mwantalasha, Zambia. Four teenage girls in the programme need a safe place to live, including 2 whose abusive stepfather who has threatened to kill them, and 1 whose schooling has deteriorated as 4 family members have recently died. A legacy allows us to purchase a safe house in the village, named the Helen Browne Rescue Home for Girls, but this does not cover the cost of a house mother/matron to care for the girls.
We will purchase a small house for four girls in danger, make it secure and comfortable, and provide water and electricity, living essentials, and a matron to look after them. The matron will supervise and assist the girls with studies, making sure they attend school. This aligns with our mission to enable children of Mwantalasha, Zambia, to complete their education and to provide for their wellbeing, support and benefit.
