Rotherham faces a rising homelessness crisis, with many adults in insecure, temporary, or unsafe housing. Cases rose 46% from 2021 to 2023. Many have complex needs, making mainstream support hard to access. Early, targeted support like tenancy advice, advocacy, and crisis prevention can stop homelessness before it starts and help people stay in safe, stable homes.
We work with all adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness regardless of their background or current circumstances. Our friendly, trained team of staff and volunteers provide comprehensive advice and practical support from our centre without an appointment. This support includes hot food and drinks, internet access, clothing, showers, and a laundry service. Our drop-ins are designed to allow immediate access to appropriate support from local partners to help secure long-term housing.
