Rates of OCD among young people are rising steeply, with NHS data showing a sharp increase over the past decade. In the last year alone, we’ve seen a 28% rise in young people contacting us for support. Every day, we hear from young people who are struggling alone, navigating conflicting information online and with no clear next steps. OCD is a serious and isolating condition, disrupting school, relationships and work, and without timely support, symptoms can quickly escalate.

We are the UK’s leading charity for people affected by OCD. Campaign funds will support our free, national helplines, providing timely, 1-1 support and reliable information for young people. Our helplines help young people understand what they’re experiencing, reduce isolation, and take clear, practical steps towards appropriate treatment, so OCD no longer dominates their lives.
