From Me to You alleviates the social isolation and loneliness experienced by people living with cancer. We run workshops to educate, encourage human connection through volunteer letter writing and spread hope and joy through the distribution of donated letters to patients in cancer care facilities.

Over 1,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each day, 1-in-4 will lack support from family or friends during treatment and recovery because they are too far away or too busy. This has a detrimental impact on the patient’s mental health and wellbeing. A Macmillan report concluded that 30% of cancer patients experience social isolation and 25% go on to suffer from depression. Our letters aim to alleviate the negative mental health impacts of a cancer diagnosis and treatment by building connections
We enable thousands of volunteers and cancer patients to build real human connections through the art of letter writing and receiving. FMTY’s 'Donate A Letter' supports volunteers to write letters to those receiving cancer treatment, through partnerships with hospitals we deliver the donated letters directly to cancer patients. Last year we delivered over 17,000 donated letters nationwide, reducing isolation and poor mental health by spreading joy and hope and building caring human connections
