Beneficiaries
The immediate threat of extinction to critically endangered Bornean orangutans (Pongo pygmaeus) caused by habitat loss, illegal hunting, fires, habitat fragmentation, lack of awareness and climate change.
Our initiatives include rescuing orphaned, injured and displaced orangutans, providing care and rehabilitation to prepare them for reintroduction to the wild, raising global awareness about the orangutans’ plight to inspire active involvement in their protection and preserving their natural rainforest habitat through conservation and restoration.
