There are over 27,000 children across Leeds with additional needs and often the whole family experience disadvantages. SNAPS supports 100 families each week with vital therapies, fun activities and support services, with some families describing the service as ‘a lifeline’ As our services receive no statutory funding, and with increasing costs, it’s vital we generate funds to sustain the vital services our families desperately rely on.
SNAPS removes barriers to provide weekly, accessible therapies and inclusive clubs for children alongside wrap-around family support. Our specialist team tailors goals for each child, delivering positive outcomes, such as increased feelings of happiness, improved mental and physical health and reduced feelings of isolation. Securing core funding, means we can continue to deliver crucial therapies and fun activities, ensuring more families receive timely, reliable help.
