We offer men free facilitated group therapy sessions around the fire, in beautiful woodland in Northumberland. Your donation will support our radical approach that reaches physically and psychologically isolated men living with poor mental health, who are unable to engage with other services.

We are living in a mental health crisis. Every two hours a man takes his life in England (ONS 2022). The North-East has the highest suicide rates with 75% being men. In 2022, suicides of middle-aged men in England cost £1.92 billion (Samaritans). Our participants have experienced domestic abuse, early trauma, relationship issues, depression, addiction, physical health issues and disabilities, loneliness and isolation. 100% couldn’t find any other services who they felt could help them

We recognise that within everyone, there is someone inside that would like to connect. For some, as a result of adverse experiences, they may not be ready. Our facilitated group sessions in nature - in which men are supported, listen respectfully, have a laugh, share food, recognise other people’s suffering – invite people into a context in which they feel increasingly safe. This safety, and way of relating, brings change that can positively impact other areas of their lives.
