Having commissioned over 200 works in 50 years, our commitment to programming new voices who reflect our contemporary world is stronger than ever. Further funding is essential to support our mission to place living composers at the heart of our work.
The New Music Fund invites our supporters and audiences to share our creative energy, investing in the music of today and tomorrow. The SCO has platformed leading composers - such as James MacMillan, Anna Clyne, Peter Maxwell Davies and our current Associate Composer Jay Capperauld - at all stages of their careers.
