While all Climate Stewards’ carbon projects include elements of training and education, we know there is more we could do if we had the funds available. Without sufficient training, resources, role models and practical solutions, young people will fail to adopt new and innovative activities and practices, and we will miss the opportunity harness the creativity and power of the next generation to tackle climate change. Our partners lack resources to do this as well as they can.

We have been working through trusted local partners to deliver community carbon projects for over 18 years. Building on this we will provide more climate solutions in schools, ranging from sustainable technology to school environment clubs. Students and their teachers will develop practical skills, training and inspiration to tackle climate change. Appropriate climate solutions well-planned, implemented and monitored to assess their effectiveness for climate protection.
