We will equip individuals and churches to better understand the role of finance in the climate crisis and resource them with practical skills to take action, including switching to green bank accounts, moving their pension, or making green investment choices, to shift money away from fossil fuels.

Despite the urgency of the climate crisis, world events and competing priorities are stalling action. Global financial flows continue to prop up fossil fuels, while clean energy and nature-positive solutions are underfunded. Many people feel disempowered, especially around finance, where banking, pension and investment choices can have powerful multiplier effects but feel abstract and complex. Demand for our greener finance training and resourcing programme is growing and we seek to scale it up.

We will scale up education for individuals and training for groups and churches, growing the movement for green finance. We’ll refresh digital resources and run workshops to reach wider, more diverse audiences. Good Money Week 2026 events will collaborate with ethical finance specialists and church environmental networks to support tangible action. Audiences will be empowered to redirect their money away from driving the climate crisis and nature loss and into green and renewable solutions.
