No blood minerals in our green transition! With your support we can hold the mining industry to account for its harms by standing in solidarity with mining affected communities and amplifying their demands for justice.

As governments seek to secure ‘critical minerals’ in the name of national security, communities affected by mining are being left out of the conversation. Mining for minerals such as copper, nickel and lithium is devastating people’s lands and livelihoods, contaminating the water they drink and the soil that sustains local agriculture. Communities are speaking out about these injustices, but we need to amplify their voices here and hold London-linked mining companies to account for these harms.
We’ll work with communities to raise awareness of the injustices they face and hold mining companies to account. We’ll do this by enabling communities to raise their concerns at company AGMs and events in the UK. We’ll strengthen movements resisting the harms of mining to build international solidarity with environmental defenders worldwide. We’ll challenge extractive narratives in the energy transition, highlighting the need to reduce demand for minerals to protect people and the planet.
