Set up by and for people with Long Covid (LC) and their carers, Long Covid Support exists to reduce the impact of LC and improve the lives of all affected. We provide support, advocacy, and research involvement opportunities to improve services and recognition of this debilitating chronic illness.

Over 2 million people in the UK live with Long Covid, yet there are no approved treatments, and NHS services are closing. People with Long Covid are excluded from decisions about healthcare and benefits that affect their lives, while their loved ones shoulder significant unpaid caring responsibilities. This leaves people experiencing a highly debilitating condition alone and largely unsupported, and an urgent public health crisis unaddressed.
Long Covid Support addresses this crisis by connecting, supporting, and advocating for people with Long Covid and their carers. By placing people with LC at the centre of decisions, we drive better care, recognition, and long-term system change. This appeal will fund an expansion of our in-person peer support, alongside new, community-led ways for lived expertise to actively shape our work. It will ensure we can continue to reduce isolation and empower our community to make their voices heard.
