Many young people in Gwent face limited access to nature, declining wellbeing, and fewer opportunities to develop skills and confidence. At the same time, local wildlife is under pressure. Our work addresses this gap by engaging young people in meaningful outdoor activities that support both youth development and nature recovery.
We inspire young people to connect with nature, boosting their wellbeing, confidence, and practical skills through hands-on activities and volunteering. By taking real action for wildlife, developing leadership and employability skills, and helping restore local habitats, participants create lasting benefits for themselves and Gwent’s biodiversity.
