Our youth club offers more than just games. Every Monday and Wednesday we offer a free hot meal to 50 young people, many facing serious disadvantage, shared around tables, creative activities, games, music and podcast studio sessions, workshops from external speakers and a quiet space to talk.

Beneficiaries
Many of the young people at Carney’s experience immense difficulties relating to poverty, crime, exclusion, deprivation and family life, putting them at significant disadvantage to their peers. These challenges negatively affect their mental and physical health, wellbeing, and ability to access opportunities, leaving many isolated, without good role models, and at risk of involvement in crime or harmful behaviours.
We deliver a youth-led programme through a safe, welcoming youth club that offers positive activities, trusted staff support, targeted workshops, and shared meals. By providing stability, choice, and access to support services, we help young people build resilience, improve wellbeing, and access opportunities to thrive.
