Permaculture offers everyday solutions for sustainable living, but many people aren’t accessing them. This campaign will modernise how we share and teach permaculture, removing barriers to engagement, and positioning us as the go-to resource for practical, regenerative living.

Permaculture offers a proven, transformative approach to sustainable living, but isn’t reaching younger or more diverse audiences at the scale needed. Outdated materials and inaccessible digital platforms are limiting our engagement and making permaculture feel less relevant than it is. At a time where climate, food, and cost-of-living pressures are high, this means people are missing out on practical tools that could bolster wellbeing and improve their lives at home and in their communities.

We will modernise the way permaculture is communicated and taught, ensuring it is relevant to younger and more diverse audiences, as well as the wider public. Working directly with youth and BPOC groups, we’ll identify barriers to engagement. We’ll use these insights to update our messaging, resources and approach to education. These will be tested and shared across our national network of projects and educators, enabling wider and more inclusive participation with new groups.
