Suffolk’s wildlife is disappearing at an alarming rate, and we are all affected by our more extreme climate. 1:10 of our plants and wildlife are facing extinction. Holding the line is not enough and we need to act now before we reach the tipping point of 2030 when it will be too late. With a 50% decline in hedgehog numbers and 41% of insects the race is on but you can help bring back nature by supporting Mission 2030.
Maintaining nature reserves with landscape management, habitat creation, species surveys, wildlife monitoring, and restoration works. Working with communities including Suffolk's farmers to make nature-positive choices, reconnecting habitats. Our Nature Action teams are inspiring people and communities across Suffolk to care about nature and take action in their gardens and green spaces. Planning and advocacy campaigns that ensure sustainable developments and ambitious biodiversity targets.
