Together We Move has been co-designed by young people (8–25yr) & our world-class dance teachers. They’ll create a joyful, intergenerational TikTok-style routine with original music, shared through “each one teach one” ripple approach (free classes & online), culminating in a family day & flashmob.

Children & many of the diverse communities in East London face overlapping inequalities, poverty, overcrowding, language barriers, SEND, and unmet mental-health needs that limit access to arts, activity, and early support. These barriers increase risk of poor wellbeing, social isolation and long-term disadvantage. Together We Move removes financial, cultural, and practical barriers, delivering free, local, inclusive dance, wellbeing support and community development to those most in need.
Our project brings real benefits to the community by tackling loneliness and connecting people across schools, families and neighbourhoods. Bringing together our young people & Leap of Faith Elders dancers, it boosts health and wellbeing through joyful movement, empowers participants with skills they can share, and builds a strong sense of belonging by uniting all ages in the flashmob at the Olympic Park, turning a shared space which can feels distant, into one of pride, connection & ownership.
