In devising this programme, we asked the group what challenges needed to be overcome. 100% responded: • Access to the arts: Facing physical and attitudinal barriers to participation in theatre training programmes. • A feeling of isolation, with few opportunities to build support networks and even less access to recreational opportunities. • Confidence, Independence and Aspirations; made worse through concern about their independent living and employment prospects.

Will deliver 7 sessions to the Young Company of 15 people leading towards a public performance. We will also provide regular individual support sessions to help provide pathways towards a career in the arts. This programme of work will be led by Disabled Directors and peers from our accessible premises in Hoxton. We will cover all access and travel costs for the group. For the first time, prior young company members will be co-leading on delivery of the workshops.
