From Uganda to the UK, solutions to climate change are within our reach – and they work by creating better lives today. Think of cosy homes that cut fuel poverty alongside emissions. Or Indigenous People protecting themselves, and our planet, by defending and restoring tropical forests. But the organisations behind these solutions often lack the funding, connections and visibility to grow their work. And when they’re held back, our journey to a greener, fairer future is held back too.

For more than 25 years, we have boosted climate innovators through the Ashden Awards. These bring enterprises and organisations prize money, publicity, credibility, and links to investors and policymakers. Benefits start with recognition at a high-profile London award ceremony – but continue for years afterwards, as we continue to share winners’ stories and connect them with funders and new partners. Our 2026 awards will focus on powering up affordable clean energy, and restoring nature.
