They assure us that they alone can provide reliable, affordable energy, but at a cost: delaying the action needed to protect us from climate disaster. They continue to seek out and extract fossil fuels whilst downplaying the threat of climate change.
We’re an independent newsroom: we don’t rely on corporate donations, protecting us from the influence of fossil fuel companies or those bankrolling them. We’ll follow the money trail, exposing who profits from the spread of misinformation. We’ll dig into the commercial interests of our politicians, exposing the lies they’ve spread about the cost of renewable energy. We will bust the myths around energy security and empower those who can push for change with accurate and dependable information.
