Disabled children with complex needs are often excluded from mainstream activities, including participating in the arts. Local families have told us that opportunities designed to support their child’s access needs and creative self-expression are very rare. What does exist is almost never for the whole family. Parents face having to split up their disabled and non-disabled children, taking them to different activities, limiting shared experiences and deepening feelings of exclusion.

We offer free, artist-led workshops every month for families with disabled children guaranteeing 1:1 support, so the whole family can take part. Rooted in creative play and sensory exploration, artists design fun, free-flowing activities that follow each child’s interests. We plan with every family before workshops to understand their children’s needs and avoid anxiety triggers. Since 2019, we’ve run 94 workshops reaching more than a thousand attendees, supporting all children’s creativity!
