Our research shows that children start to form prejudices in years 3 and 4 (ages 7-9). Whilst EDI (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) is a focus for schools, there is clearly a long way to go before teachers feel confident in holding these conversations and children have a true understanding. Misunderstanding and exclusion can shape both pupil experience and wider school culture. Schools need engaging ways to help children and young people understand and celebrate difference.

Our learning disabled & professional musicians have created music-powered resources for primary schools, including live interactive online assemblies, pre-recorded resources & PSHE materials. Our campaign will engage schools nationwide to take part. Based on our ‘It’s not a crime to be different’ campaign (co-developed with the police) we will develop a program for senior schools with resources, workshops & teacher training to guide conversations around difference, inclusion & anti-hate messages
