Working across the North-West, Fallen Angels works with people in recovery from addiction & mental ill health using Dance Theatre. Our new show for 2026 is co-created with addiction survivors rooted in shared voices and perspectives of recovery and we need your help to bring it to audiences.

Addiction and mental illness thrives in isolation, often exacerbated by economic hardship. In North-West England, deprived areas face higher addiction rates but have the lowest access to the arts. People in recovery are frequently sidelined, their stories unheard and their creative potential untapped. Without professional platforms, the stigma of addiction persists, and those with lived experience are excluded from the transformative power of high-quality artistic expression and career pathways.

We provide a vital bridge from recovery to the arts. Through weekly workshops in Cheshire & Merseyside, we offer a safe space for people in recovery to explore dance theatre. We provide pathways to accredited training and professional performance. By co-creating a first-class production for 2026, we will empower 8 recovery artists to reclaim their identities. This campaign funds the professional expertise and logistics needed to take this "lived experience" show to national stages.
