There are very limited opportunities for learning disabled people to take part in regular creative and physical activities; particularly those which carry on over the long-term and develop key skills and personal attributes at a pace that suits each individual. Our community also face much higher levels of social isolation than the general population, and have few opportunities to undertake activities which enable them to fully explore their potential.

We provide 16 weekly classes – in person, and online – which enable learning disabled people age 3 upwards to take part in regular arts activity. Classes support creative and physical development, along with key personal outcomes including reduced social isolation and improved communication. The Festival is an important opportunity to celebrate the talents of our dancers, and enable them to broadcast work which speaks to their ambitions and experiences to live and digital audiences.
