Art and culture play a vital role in supporting individual and community health and wellbeing, yet access remains unequal. We support individuals facing significant health challenges who, as a result, also experience poverty, disadvantage, or discrimination. We work with people that are often underserved and overlooked. We observe gaps in local provision, long waiting lists for statutory services and a loneliness epidemic. Demand for our services has grown in line with these developments.

We use art and culture as a tool to improve health, ensuring that creative engagement is accessible to those who need it most. Through a focus on health creation, prevention, and early intervention our programmes seek to nurture support networks, improve mental health and support individuals to self-manage chronic health conditions. Our art workshops provide a space to do something new, express ideas and be playful. We employ a Peer Worker who signposts to other services and support.
