Climate Ed builds children’s understanding of climate science and their ability to take action. Through our free, volunteer-led workshops, we make climate change relevant, straightforward and hopeful. We empower young people to understand their impact and inspire their families to live more sustainably.

Children face a climate crisis they didn’t cause, yet most schools lack time or expertise to teach meaningful climate education and it is not on the national curriculum. Without clear understanding, climate anxiety grows and young people feel powerless.
Climate Ed empowers children aged 9-11 to understand and tackle the climate crisis through engaging, age-appropriate workshops delivered by our trained volunteer network. Our programme equips young people to raise their voice on the climate challenge and take meaningful climate action. By expanding region by region, we aim to make this transformative learning experience accessible to every child across the UK.
