Ancient trees are irreplaceable, yet our oldest trees are under immediate threat. Development, poor land management, root damage, soil compaction, pollution, and harmful pruning put them at risk. Unlike historic buildings, they lack legal protection, and populations are declining—your support is vital.
We advocate for these majestic, often misunderstood trees, celebrating their history and the life they support. We train professionals and volunteers to care for old trees, influence policy, publish guidance, host free events and mentor young people, creating a welcoming network to share knowledge and protect our oldest trees.
