Young people need time in nature. Time to be themselves, time to be together, time to take action. In 2026, we will give 650+ young people 30,000+ hours of free, life-changing experiences in nature. These young leaders will restore UK landscapes, improve their wellbeing, and build community.

Young people in the UK are facing the unprecedented, interconnected crises of poor mental health, the climate and ecological emergency, with less access to community spaces. 64% of 11-16-year-olds experience eco-anxiety, almost half spend less than 10 minutes in nature daily, and access to quality green spaces is heavily weighted against those from disadvantaged and minority ethnic backgrounds. This is compounded by 81% of young people wanting to protect nature, but not knowing where to start.
By delivering life-changing, immersive and inclusive programmes, we enable young people to connect to nature, take action to restore it, and gain new skills and knowledge as part of a flourishing network of emerging young environmental leaders. Our work embeds young people as active leaders within intergenerational communities, restoring both relationships and landscapes where they live.
