Together, we can create more ways to discover, experience and fall in love with nature in spectacular landscapes. Through new walking trails, volunteering, outdoor education and family activities, we’ll spark a lifelong love of nature, and a shared commitment to protect it for future generations.

Britain is one of the least nature-connected nations in the world. With 1 in 3 people unable to reach a good-quality green space within 15 minutes of home, this impacts not only on our health and well-being, but also means people feel increasingly distant from the natural world. With the UK among the most nature depleted countries globally, it’s essential that we reverse this trend to make it easier for everyone to access and enjoy nature.

We’ll open the door to nature for people of all ages, inspiring wonder and a lasting love of the natural world. By caring for Oxfordshire’s largest free-to-access landscape at the Wittenham Clumps and 7 community reserves, we’ll create nature-rich spaces for all. In establishing a new welcome hub, a better network of trails, and more learning and volunteering opportunities, we’ll break down barriers to access and empower communities to explore, enjoy and care for nature.
