Oxford is a city of huge inequality. Levels of anxiety, poor mental health and loneliness are rising for young people from disadvantages and underserved communities. A decline in the provision of arts subjects in schools means that many children and young people are missing out on the creative and cultural experiences that could make their lives better.
Pegasus's creative inclusion projects enable the most vulnerable children and young from our communities to build confidence and self esteem, learn new skills and make new friends. We offer weekly sessions, monthly workshops and week long holiday projects at no cost along with 121 support and subsidised transport options. 20% of places in our flagship young companies are fully subsidised and ticket prices are subsidised through our community ticketing scheme.
