We believe every child and young person has the right to be heard. We place inspiring performance poets in schools, libraries and community spaces across England, to work with those who lack confidence with spoken and written words. Building self-expression, resilience and the courage to speak out.

We know children’s voices are powerful but chances to develop them remain unequal. Too many children and young people grow up lacking confidence, with limited opportunities to express themselves, to feel pride in who they are, or see their lives reflected in stories and poems. The children we work with often lack confidence with spoken and written words, widening the attainment gap and impacting oracy, aspirations and wellbeing. All of which can significantly reduce future life opportunities.

We deliver free, joyful, performance poetry workshops, festivals and live shows for children and young people aged 3-18, in schools, libraries and community spaces across England. Our performance poets are relatable role models from diverse backgrounds, who turn poetry into a live, shared experience, transforming children’s relationship to words. Improving life chances by helping them find their voice and explore their own stories, building creativity, confidence and emotional resilience.
