Children in Gaza face war, displacement, and loss, with few safe spaces to process trauma or express their emotions. Their homes and schools have been destroyed, and entire neighborhoods lie in rubble. Many have lost parents, siblings, or friends - an estimated 17,000 children are now orphaned or separated from their families. Hospitals are overflowing, and thousands of children are living with life-changing injuries, including amputations. Simple moments of safety, play, and childhood have become rare and precious.

We work with a local partner called Child Smile to deliver drama therapy sessions where children can safely express their emotions, explore feelings like fear, sadness, and joy, and learn practical ways to cope. Through creative play, storytelling, and group activities, children regain a sense of childhood, build resilience, and feel supported.
