Since 1973, our arts centre has been the creative heart of Bracknell Forest, providing a unique and historic space for local residents to visit and benefit from the transformative power of the arts. Help us to ensure that everyone, particularly vulnerable members of our community, has equal access.

As well as nurturing our local creative talent, our mission is to remove barriers to access, to inspire, enrich and enable the connections which help bring our community together. In the current social and economic climate, many are unable to access the benefits of the arts such as improved health and wellbeing and greater cultural understanding. From school children experiencing cuts to creative experiences in class, to older people facing loneliness and isolation, we aim to help everyone.

For many years, our Learning, Participation and Community Engagement Team have produced a diverse programme, including accessible, free or low-cost initiatives - from community theatre, visual arts classes for young carers, to dementia friendly/relaxed film screenings. By collaborating with people of all ages, local organisations and industry professionals, we provide high-quality and inclusive opportunities and address prevalent issues, such as Healthy Lifestyles in partnership with NHS Frimley
