On average 5 people in the UK will be killed on the roads with numerous more left with life-changing injuries. The provision of a bespoke package of post-collision support is essential. Nationally there is a dearth of support available for the families and individuals who are left bereaved by a fatal road collision and The Road Victims Trust fills this gap, working closely with local police and other supporting organisations.

The Road Victims Trust will recruit, maintain and train a cohort of skilled professional Counsellors who, in turn, will volunteer their skills and expertise to the charity. These Counsellors will provide support to the families and individuals who are bereaved across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
