Beneficiaries
Girls from disadvantaged families are often overlooked in education, sport & life opportunities. WTA gives affordable access to quality education & health care, but lacks funding to provide facilities to fully develop the potential of young people - both girls and boys. Lack of adequate, safe, local maternity facilities & womens' health care provision. Lack of safe transport in rural areas for teachers developing primary literacy. Lack of sufficient funding for an income generating project.
ServeDirect has already provided basic sports facilities for WTA. More recently SD successfully improved academic & technology facilities, but now aims to enhance sports & vocational opportunities for all students - especially girls. Similarly SD will improve local maternity & womens health care at the adjacent Rock Health Centre and provide better, safer transport to expand literacy training to even more primary schools. SD will help fund & develop a sustainable income generating project.
