Raising funds for critically unwell patients, making their environment healing, calming and comfortable. Placing a brand new outside space for patients to see the sun for the last time, or to heal under the suns warmth, surrounded by scented flowers and fresh air, a break from the hospital ward.

We are providing a new environment for critically unwell patients that will feel less like a hospital. The outdoor space will enable healing and wellbeing for patients and their visitors as open spaces for patients this unwell are not always available. With the new indoor and outdoor areas the patients and visitors environment will be calmer, less hospital like and more relaxing. No one wants to be unwell but when it happens we aim to improve spaces and enable better healing environments.

The Hospital Trust has built the new outdoor space and a complete new unit for the Intensive Care Unit and High Dependency Unit to move into. The Charity are supporting the design and landscaping for the garden and the uplift of the patient and visitor area across the new unit. Without the Charity's support the garden will remain a shell and the unit will be only a clinical space. This will affect patient's wellbeing and healing process.
