Many young people in the UK stop studying maths, science and computing-based subjects too early, closing the door to potential STEM-based careers. This is particularly true of those from disadvantaged backgrounds, who are less likely to encounter successful scientists and engineers amongst their friends and family.

Since 2015, we've published over 275 interviews with influential figures across sectors from space technology to cybersecurity. These unique first-hand accounts provide crucial industrial heritage preservation whilst serving as role models for the next generation. Our education programme transforms these into curriculum-linked resources, with over 6,000 teacher downloads to date. We deliver workshops featuring industry pioneers – reaching 1,200 students in 2024 alone.
