Today’s world isn’t working for everyone, especially young people. Millions globally see their potential limited by circumstances beyond their control. Over 65 million are out of work and in regions like Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East, up to a third are not in employment, education, or training. Global challenges such as cost-of-living, conflict, and climate crises don’t just affect their present circumstances— they jeopardise their future. The need for change has never been greater.
King’s Trust International works to tackle the global crisis in youth unemployment. Our mission is to empower young people to learn, earn and thrive. We provide opportunities to develop the skills and confidence to succeed and deliver tangible employment outcomes. Working through a global network of local partners, we develop education, employability and enterprise programmes to help young people build their own futures. Last year, 74% of participants moved into work, education or training.
