This winter, too many people in Plymouth face freezing nights without a safe place to call home. Your support can help Path reach more people in crisis - offering shelter, essentials, and a compassionate hand to help them start again. Because hope really does begin with a home.

We face a growing housing crisis. Funding is stretched, and truly affordable homes are scarce. Landlords are leaving, rents are rising, and safe housing is out of reach for many. In 2024–25, 430 people slept rough in Plymouth. As winter nears, life on the streets becomes brutal and dangerous. People endure freezing nights, illness, fear, and exhaustion. Survival is a daily struggle—for warmth, food, and dignity. For too many, winter isn’t just cold—it’s life-threatening.

Every day, we’re out on Plymouth’s streets, rolling up our sleeves to tackle homelessness head-on. We help hundreds into safety - through rough sleeping outreach, crisis prevention, emergency shelter, long-term homes, and tailored support for families, young people, refugees and those rebuilding their lives after prison. We don’t stop there. Our Winter Appeal powers this urgent work - fuelling essentials, family support, and rapid response when the cold hits hardest.
